Odense Marcipan has since 1991 been owned by Norwegian Orkla.

Orkla is the largest producers of branded goods in the Nordic countries, one of Norway’s largest companies listed on OSE. Orkla has companies in approx. 41 countries. The companies generates a total annual income of 33.0 billion NOK (2013). 17,000 dedicated and skillfull employees are the core of the business.

Orkla Food Ingredients (OFI):

OFI is the leading operator within bakery ingredients in Scandinavia and among TOP 10 in Europe. OFI has companies in 20 different countries. OFI has International production and product development with local distribution and product adjustment. Companies within OFI generates an annual turnover of 5.998 mio NOK (2013) and employes 2366 persons.

The Orkla Food Ingredient business unit had its start in 1999, then consisting of 5 companies within 4 countries; Norway, Denmark, Iceland and Faroe Island. Odense Marcipan was together with Dragsbæk the Danish representatives at the time. Today OFI has positions in 20 countries and have had a growth of more than 600 % since 1999.
